REVIEW: Pret Vegan Lunch

Pret is generally one of the best chain places for a vegan to get a quick, healthy grab and go lunch. They do awesome falafel salads and a super greens sandwich. But today they excelled in vegan options and I had a delicious, filling meal…

MAIN: Mexican Avocado Flat Bread

This is the Chef’s Special that has only just come in-store. I have no idea how long it will last but I really hope it’s permanent as it was amazing – it basically tasted like a burrito but in delicious, fresh flatbread.

SIDE: SWEET AND SALT POPCORN

This stuff is fantastic – there’s actually loads in the bag and the salt and sweet combo is just so addictive!

SWEET TREAT: DARK CHOCOLATE WITH SEA SALT

I saw this at the counter and thought I’d just check to see if it’s vegan – result! It’s totally vegan and the sea salt makes it taste really interesting. I clearly had quite a sweet/savoury theme going on today.

DRINK: PURE PRET CANS

Obviously not the healthiest drink I could have gone for (they have plenty of amazing juices and smoothies). However, their description was so fantastic I had to buy it…

So get down to your local Pret, as I was so pleased with the way they make a proper effort to make tasty and interesting things for vegans and they are labelled really clearly! Enjoy!

Lots of love,

Having been in Australia for 18 months now a lot of people ask what I miss most about the UK…. Pret! I miss Pret!

On a side note, that flat bread is sooo calorific! Looks awesome though 😉
