MAPOMETER FOR RUNNING

For all the runners out there who want to know how far they’ve gone and want to plan where to go next – this website is fantastic. (I’m not promoting for them, I just genuinely think this site is so good and easy to use). So here’s why I love it:

Here’s the link:

MAPOMETER

Simply type in the name of your area into the location bar on the top left and then get going. It’s amazing because:

1. YOU CAN DRAW YOUR ROUTE YOURSELF

You can draw wherever you have been running or want to go, and it is super easy to undo mistakes or to clear everything and start again. It also tells you as you’re drawing it how far you have travelled, as a little number of the distance travelled pops up on the map when you reach each next mile/kilometre.

2. IT GOES INTO LOADS OF DETAIL

You can zoom right in and it brings up all footpaths and paths within parks, so you can plan your route exactly.

3. YOU CAN TAILOR IT TO YOU

It gives you the option of miles or kilometres and you can put in your weight and it will tell you how many calories you are likely to have burned.

All in all, this is a fantastic website for the keen runner and really helps you to check if you’ve reached your distance goals and plan new ones!

Lots of love,

Sunny Kitty
